We all know that links play a major role in website rankings. I am tired of people saying things like, “Create diversified link profiles and build high quality links,” without telling you, What do you think what are the Link Building Methods & How to use them?
1) You can get free links by submitting your site to directories.
2) You can contact the sites similar to your sites by an email suggesting them advantage of a link exchange.
3) You can create articles containing a link for your site and post them to the top article sites.
4) Blog posting.
5) Use Social Media Marketing for creating for profiles on popular social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc.
6) DO social bookmarking for your site.

This is right that every website needs the high quality back links. If you have enough high quality back links then sure you will get a good amount of traffic as well as ranking for your project.
So the best way to create the links by contact with the webmasters with a mail.
