How to find best link building services company?

Recently, i hired few big Link building companies.But i am not satisfied with their work. Companies seems to be big but the work is very poor. I think i should have to for small scale companies which can care more about our sites.. What do you say guys?
Is there any one who can help me in getting any small scale link building company who can show good serps. I have much work for them.

You should try building links yourself. It is time consuming but it is not that difficult. There are many companies. But sometimes a freelancer will make better work. What is your domain and target keywords? You can send me a PM or email with the details and I can refer it to some of my SEO friends to see if they can help you.

If you can write articles and do some spinning, you can work with some blog networks where you share content in exchange for backlinks. If you don’t like writing maybe you can outsource the job.

If you find their work poor then you should terminate the contract and look elsewhere.
Best is to find a company that has good reviews and by reviews i do not mean testimonials.
Check for them on search engines like Google , Bing and yahoo.
You can also choose a link builder from forums or from freelance sites who have delivered results in the past and have good ratings.

It’s best if you know the basics in SEO and link building, so you’ll have an idea how long it takes before results can be seen in SERPS. It is possible that you are also setting the goals high leading to dissatisfaction.
Try to hire individual providers in http://www.odesk.com or a company with a reputable background like http://www.keyscouts.com

Before you hire an SEO company, have a conversation with them as to what they will do or what you expect them to do. Scope of job should be clearly outlined.
Send them an email and see what kind of response time they have. If they have good customer service, they should be getting back to you within 24-48 hours max.
Lookup the company either using their company name or site URL searching google or other search engines. See what kind of result you get. A reputable SEO company should return plenty of results when searched by the domain name.
If their pricing is too cheap, then stay away. After all you get what you pay for. If you want good service, you are expected to pay for it.
