Google’s is Buying Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion of Motorola Mobility. Google is picking up a hardware vendor that has had some developments like; Motorola Photon 4G, Motorola Xoom. The move could also give muscle for new life into Google’s stagnant Google TV platform; Motorola is one of the largest manufacturers of set top boxes in the country. This deal is really about intellectual property not about the hardware at all.
