Is Social Media Marketing best done by the business or an outsourced service or both and why?

Well there are going to be pros and cons to both. It boils down to one thing: TIME Is the cost-benefit ratio of your company doing this going to be worth it? In other words, are you proficient enough in social media to maintain constant interaction with customers on whatever platform(s) use choose to use (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.)

If you DO have time, awesome. That’s going to give your visitors a sense of uniqueness. Your voice and passion for your business will come across to them in your constant updates and interactions with them.

If you DON’T have time, it’s not the end of the world. There are reputable companies out there that deal exclusively with this. The only draw back is, obviously, that you could be paying large amounts of money for a QUALITY, targeted, service. This is another thing that needs to be figured into your cost-benefit equation. Weigh the cost (time, quality interaction, and $) of your company doing social media, then weigh the cost (time, quality interaction, and $) to outsource this. Which is more beneficial for you company?

Hope this has helped, good luck.
